Alas, the UPS has failed me. I had 3 amazon packages due to arrive in the last 2 days and NONE of them have shown up. I even hedged my bets and had the last 2 sent to my parents' house when I ordered them, but no. Still no boxes. My parents decided it was imperative that we escape from Snowville before the next big storm (supposedly to hit tonight or tomorrow, with freezing rain), so they came to rescue us. Our neighborhood is the worst sort of snow trap, as evidence by yesterday's main excitement:
