Just had AA Window and Gutter come and clean the roof and driveway. And DUDE. The guy was awesome. The roof is clean, the driveway is so shiny it looks brand new. Called our mortgage broker today and confirmed that mortgage rates really HAVE dropped an entire percentage point from when we closed on the mortgage for this place in like April. I dread the entire re-finance process but I worked out the difference and it's well worth re-financing as long as the new rate is 4.75% or below. But still... the ( Read more... )

When someone finished the basement in House2, they created an odd little room right at the bottom of the stairs. It's not very big. It has no windows. It has shelves on the upper halves of 1.5 walls.
