So is it in my headcanon or in actuality that the reason Denethor scorned Faramir is that he looked like Finduilas, his late wife in temperament or in looks? So because Findulias came to early death that he kind of blamed Faramir? I think Faramir was only 5 when Finduilas died?

Someone please let me know if this is my head canon or actual canon and please quote me the chapter or appendix where this fact is found.

I remember having a fic i wrote looooong time ago on how the family spent their first Yule without Finduilas. Did i ever post that anywhere? I think i hand wrote it....:P
