This morning I had physio. He prodded lots at my neck and relaxed that a lot. Then he held my head in the right posture and said I'm to keep it like that as much as possible. Well as some of you may know I've been seeing the physio for about 6 months now and I'm still not a whole lot better than when I started. Yeah, I'm stronger - but I'm still in lots of pain a lot of the time. Google have finally got round to putting Derby on streetview! So now you can see my house and my work, which I am sure the security guys are not going to be happy about, but Google have upset other people over streetview too - including various car manufacturers!

So today I had my first appointment with the shoulder physio in Derby Royal Infirmary. I've been given one exercise to do for the next week and I see him again next Tuesday before work. Things are looking up!

In other news I'm going to get tickets with James and some of his mates to see a Metallica concert in March.

Well yesterday I went to physiotherapy. It was good. The guy said he's pretty certain he knows what's wrong. Something is wrong with my rotator cuff. He's said that it's fixable though. (good news). I went to physio this morning. She poked me about and then strapped my shoulder blades up across my back with sticky tape and that's supposed to support them and help one particular muscle take a rest and stop hurting me. I now know why a girl I used to go to school with referred to her physiotherapist as her physioterrorist! My physio is really nice and she's helping me get better and I can now move my arm much further than I could when I first saw her 19 days ago. BUT she pokes and prods me about and makes me do loads of stretches and things and they really hurt! ( Read more... )

My dress is almost finished! I need to go and buy more thread on Monday because we used pretty much all of a 250m reel. There's certainly not enough left to finish it - I need at least another 16m I think. It's looking pretty good and I should look pretty stunning at the ball ( Read more... )
