About Me:
I am a 26 year old online college student. I stay at home because my boyfriend works out of town and it is easier for us. I love history, t.v., music, books, documentaries, learning, and I absolutely LOVE exchanging letters. It has really become a passion for me.
I am also the mother of 3 fur-babies, which I will never tell a pen pal or anyone else is like being a mom to a human child, but I do love them with all of my heart and try my best to keep them healthy and happy. I like exchanging pictures, book marks, and mix cd's but do NOT require them as part of pen pal friendship. I am not into the 'swapping' scene, or whatever I have made that to be in my head. I write lengthy letters, and am pretty sure I bore the hell out of all of my pen pals LOL. But, I keep all of the letters I receive and put a lot of effort into my replies. I try to pick up on things that my pen pals mention they like and include them in my replies, even if it's writing on green paper if my pen pal likes the color green.
Music:
I like it all, except new country, and if it's a really decent song, I'll even listen to that. My favorite bands are The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fleet Foxes.
Movies:
I am a chick flick addict. I watch a TON of documentaries, so I guess chick flicks are like my reward or guilty pleasure because I sort of force myself to be learning constantly when in front of the t.v.
Books:
Again- I read just about everything. I own literally hundreds if not over a thousand books, and I have a kindle fire. I don't really enjoy christian fiction or science fiction though. Right now I'm reading a fantasy called Orcs....
Television:
Ahhh...here is my weakness. I watch entirely too much t.v. and somehow pen palling doesn't help because I tend to write my letters while watching t.v. I watch Bones, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, The Office, Criminal Minds, Sons of Anarchy, The Newsroom, The West Wing ( I own them all), American Colony, Amish Out of Order, Perception, anything Law & Order, wow...there are actually more but I can't seem to get them to pop out of my head and onto the screen...

How long are your letters?
Hmmm...sometimes I don't use the back of the paper ( I often write with permanent marker and it bleeds) so usually around 4 pages, but I did just recently send a letter that was close to 20 pages....or maybe it was more....oh my ::blush:: But the letter I was replying to was long and in depth and I wanted to give an equal reply. You will get that from me as a pen pal.
How long does it take you to reply to a letter?
Usually I have a response in the mail within a couple of days, sometimes it takes a week.
Do you prefer male or female?
I don't really care. As long as male pen pal remembers that I am in a committed relationship. Well, I guess that goes for females as well LOL.

It doesn't matter. I have US stamps and International ones. As long as I have international pen pals I will continue to buy the stamps.
What are you looking for in a pen pal?
I'm really looking for people who are willing to truly get to know me and let me get to know them. I like it when my pen pals ask questions and then actually recognize my replies. I have posted on here within the last couple of months and have had some great friendships started, I guess I'm really just looking for more.
