About me: Ugh I hate these things. I'm terrible at them. Does that count as an "about me?" Let's see… I'm a sarcastic, introverted, animal lover with a makeup addiction that stems out of love for it as an art rather than as a means of self consciousness. I am pretty shy, but I open up quickly. I am quirky & weird. I love the macabre & psychological.
Music: I am a fan of industrial metal, electronica, 80s goth/punk, alternative & classic rock.
Books: I love to read. Some favorites include Better than Running at Night by Hillary Frank, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris, & White Oleander by Janet Fitch.
Movies: I have severe ADHD when it comes to movies. If I'm not interested, it is very hard to get me to watch something. So saying these are my favorites is speaking very highly of them. White Oleander (book & film are just amazingly beautiful), Antichrist, the Ginger Snaps trilogy, Secretary, Copycat, Se7en, Quills, the Hours, Girl, Interrupted, Labyrinth, Dracula.
TV: HUGE fan of 2 Broke Girls (KAT DENNINGS. UNF.), Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, House (when it was good, ie, seasons 1-5ish), Daria.

What are you looking for in a penpal? Really, I'd like a friend. Someone who is quirky & an oddball like I am. Someone who gets that life isn't spectacular 24/7 and admits to being vulnerable. Someone who I don't have to be perfect to ALL the time, meaning if I'm experiencing something, I don't have to keep it hidden. Someone who can teach me things and who can trust me in return. Basically a BFF in written form whom I can send letters and occasionally nice little trinkets to. :)
