About Me:
I'm a 19 year old animal enthusiast who is still going back and forth between studying animal science and becoming a librarian. Oops. I also ride a unicycle and juggle apples in my kitchen.
I've participated in NaNoWriMo for 2 years now and I love it so much. My novels are terrible but I'm immensely proud of them. I also read a ton, my hold list at the library is currently 87 books. .
I think Alaskan Shepherds are the coolest dogs ever. I don't have any dogs, sadly. I do however have a cat who thinks he's a dog, and two rats who think they're humans. I work at the MSPCA where my job title actually is 'The Cat Cuddler'
As far as pen pals go I tend to write really lengthy letters and I love sending little trinkets and stickers and CDs and whatnot. I love getting them too but I enjoy letters even more. So if you're into that kind of thing that's rad! If not that is more than okay as I will be overjoyed by getting a letter anyway.

My music tastes range from Les Miserables to Have Heart to Hank Green to Lady Gaga to Powerglove.
Recently, I've been listening to a lot of Chameleon Circuit, Four Year Strong, Envy on the Coast, and the 10th anniversary edition of Les Miserables.
Movies:
I love love LOVE really terrible movies. The only good movies I like are Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, Old Boy, Kill Bill, Grave of the Fireflies, and The Lord of the Rings.
The terrible movies I love include Starship Troopers, Two-Headed Shark Attack, Deathrace 2000, Robocop, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, The Killer Tomatoes Eat France, Nazis at the Center of the Earth, Shark Attack 3: Megalodon, and Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter.
Books:
Reading is my passion. I mostly read fantasy but I will read anything that anyone recommends. That offer does not include the second and third 50 Shades of Grey books. I'm sorry but one was more than enough, augh.
With that said a few favorites are House of Leaves, The Wheel of Time, The Demonata, Vector, Ghost Light, The Black Tattoo, Hello Kitty Must Die, The Dictionary of Imaginary Places, Chromosome 6, and anything at all by Michael Crichton.
Television:
I adore Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural, Warehouse 13, Alphas, Teen Wolf (It's a guilty pleasure), How I Met Your Mother, Being Human, Sarah Jane Adventures, and The Game of Thrones. I don't have time to watch everything I would like to, sadly.

How many pen pals do you have?

I don't care! If people want to write to me than I would love to write to them too.

Sure, but a warning that my emails are usually shorter and less thought out than my letters.

How long are your letters?
Anywhere between 5 and 10 pages usually. I write on both sides of the paper unless there is a drawing that takes up an entire side.
How long does it take you to reply to a letter?
I tend to reply either the day I receive it or the day after and it goes in the mail as soon as I'm done (unless it's Sunday). When I travel I tend to send a postcard from wherever I am and then write a full length letter when I return.
Do you prefer male or female?
No preference!
Age?
I'm 19 so around my age would be lovely (let's say maybe 17-24?) but I find people from all age brackets interesting so don't let that stop you.
Where would you prefer them from?
I do not care one bit. :)
What are you looking for in a pen pal?
I would love to find some snail mail pen pals who enjoy writing. I like it when people show interest and ask questions and when they actually take the time to thoughtfully answer the questions I ask them.
