Looking for Reccomendations

So my wrist is healing up nicely, I can go several hours without the brace now, and my job interview went quite well. (If short interviews really are a good sign, I'm in with a chance here. Mine took all of seven minutes and at least one of those was spent waiting for my interviewer). So hopefully I can finish up 21 and get that out ASAP.

HOWEVER, I'm writing on an unrelated note. Lately I've been listening to Inquisition Symphony by Apocalyptica, and it's kind of wetted my apetite for instrumental music. Thing is, I have a hard enough time finding ordinary music to listen to. I generally draw from show tunes and a couple of YouTube musicians.

So...where to start? Who can suggest some good music sans vocals? Classical or not, I don't mind. Stuff like Murray Gold's work or stuff Sherlock might play on the violin, it's all one to me. If it sounds good, I listen to it. End of. And I'm quite taken with the idea of finding Sherlock and John's song in SWAN. All I know is that it has a sort of sad ending with violin and a trailing of piano notes, and I'm fairly sure there's a song out there that fits that description somewhere. I'd like to embed it in "The Thirteenth Summer" so people can hear it whilst reading about Sherlock and John's first kiss.

But beyond that, I'd just like music I can listen to whilst writing that won't distract me with lyrics. I get so caught up in words...

flist to the rescue!, update, how do you music?, penni rambles, random shit, pi speaks
