Crazy Cupcake Lady
Guys, I think I may have a mystery on my hands.
Some of you may know, my mum bakes. A lot. And well. Sometimes she sells the stuff she bakes.
Well, lately this one woman has been buying a lot of cupcakes. A lot. Like, in the course of the last couple weeks she's done an order for 30, 40, and 70 units of battery, icing-y goodness.
People, who needs that many cupcakes?!
Apparently the first one was for her daughter's birthday. And the second was for her daughter's school...thing. And now we're supplying what appears to be her daughter's second birthday party, and I just...bzuh?
Don't get me wrong I'm glad of the revenue, but I'm the only one in this bloody house who can make fondant rocks that actually look like rocks. Rather than vaguely ashamed pseudo-pebbles with suspiciously non-saharran fossils in. (The cakes are Lion King themed.)
I don't know. I'm suspicious. This lady may have a serious problem. A cupcake problem. She may be tripping on frosting, visions of fairy cakes tormenting her fevered dreams.
Or maybe I just need to go to bed...
