Saturday of Activities
Yesterday morning was Jana's last day of Gymkhana Winter Session (she is registered for Spring Session as well). Last day of the session, they invite parents to participate. Needless to say, I was not aware. Gymkhana has been my quiet moment of shopping at the co-op, or sitting in the co-op cafe reading news, etc. So I put my purse in the car and take my shoes off to join Jana. It was a little crazy and it certainly wasn't my quiet time. :P
Afterwards, we then had a tight schedule to pick up my grocery list, pick Michael up for lunch, run home and bathe to get ready to go to a birthday party.
One of Jana's good friends and classmates had her 3rd birthday party yesterday afternoon. Jana and Rachel (the birthday girl) seem to be pretty close friends, it was a great party.
Theme was, "Little Einsteins" and I thought the cake decor was impressively done. And it was a huge cake. Rachel lives less then 2 miles away and Jana was completely wiped out by the time we arrived home. I like how she clutched her goodie bag from the party while she slept!
