I spoke last week on Face­book that I have a dress in mind for an upcom­ing con­ven­tion, and while it would fit now (and look great), I think it would fit so much bet­ter with a few inches gone here and there. Am I over­weight - most prob­a­bly. Do I look it  - prob­a­bly. Am I happy - most def­i­nitely not.

I’ve been facing a something rather irritating.

½ bottle of full bodied red-wine (a Cabernet or Shiraz or Syrah or something without “White” in the name)

It’s springtime and I dig fresh asparagus.  I steam them and served them hot and slighty crisp. I also make a Hollandaise sauce to serve over it. It’s the perfect combination of butter and lemon, which I would happily drown my food in were it not for the health conditions that ( Read more... )
