This year I'm adding images. Mainly because I loved looking at all the covers that
aliciablade added to all her reviews :)
1. Delta of Venus, Anais Nin
I'm still not quite sure what I think of this book. It's the first erotica that I've read (you know, aside from fandom smut *winks*), and yeah. It was a collection of short stories, some of them interconnected. It was certainly very hot, very steamy and Nin's writing was excellent. I certainly enjoyed it while I was reading it, but past that just really not sure what I think. *shrugs* Maybe I just need to read more erotica, lol. *winks*
2. Interview with the Vampire, Anne Rice
It was good and I really enjoyed it. I loved Louis as a character, and Claudia was brilliant (also pity-worthy. I felt so sorry for her as the years went on, becoming a grown woman but forever stuck in a child's body). The one thing that really bothered me though was the random, unexplained re-emergence of Lestat towards the end of the book. It completely threw me off, and I'm almost positive that it wasn't explained. Good book, but don't think I'll read the rest of Rice's Vampire Chronicles. It didn't hook me enough to want to continue the series.
3. Emma, Jane Austen
I heart this book. Totally and completely. I don't think anything else really needs to be said. :D
