I don't know how I've missed this, but this summer TNT is premiering a new show about WOMEN COP PARTNERS!!!!!!!!!!! Rizzoli and Isles, starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander. Technically, they're not partners but cop and medical examiner, it seems, but the point is that BOTH LEADS ARE WOMEN!!!! And it looks like they are FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!! Cop partners!!!!! Women friends!!!! Be still, my heart!!!

And today in the TV meme: Day 20 - Favorite kiss
This is both easy and difficult. The easy part is John and Aeryn. Nobody beats John and Aeryn for kissing! Nobody even comes close. The difficult part, however, is which kiss??? Does one go for sheer hotness? Relevance to plot/relationship/characterization? Personal favorite moments? Well, have one of each:
For my money, the hottest John/Aeryn kiss is the one at the end of "Season of Death":
Whereas the most important or meaningful kiss (and also one of the best-played scenes between the two of them, I think) is the one at the end of "Look at the Princess":
My personal favorite, though, for reasons I have a hard time explaining, except that it's one of my favorite episodes, and the scene is so beautifully shot, and the moment is so poignant, and I love the silence with only the rain in the background, is "A Human Reaction":
