top five meme responses (part the first)

Aug 04, 2009 20:54

Some responses to the earlier time-wasting meme. Not necessarily in the order in which they were received but rather in something approximating the order in which I could think of responses. :)

From gabolange, who was being indecisive: Top five TV boyfriends?

5. Hoban "Wash" Washburne
4. Seeley Booth
3. John Doggett (yes, yes, I was one of the people who actually loved Doggett!)
2. James Ellison
1. Cameron Mitchell

Or top five 'shippy moments? (I think I'll pick one favorite moment per top five favorite pairings.)

5. Bruce and Amy: "You came." "You called."

4. Daniel and Janet: "You do not belong in that man's body, and I intend to take it back"

3. Booth and Brennan: I have not yet seen all their shippy moments, so I may find one to top this, but right now I've got to go with them singing "Keep on Tryin'" to each other in the diner. (Runner-up: ice skating)

2. John and Aeryn: the coin toss scene

1. Mulder and Scully: "Hips before hands" (yes, I really am this predictable when it comes to shipping!)

From runawaynun, Top five flappy-hands moments.

5. The last seven minutes of Damages, season 1

4. ITLD: WISC, John and Scorpius in the hangar bay

3. Roslin airlocking Leoben.

2. The last two or three episodes of TSCC were pretty much continuous flappy hands, but Sarah and Ellison in the finale was like a Personalized Gift Just For MEEEEEEE!!!!

1. Scorpius climbing down from the wanted beacon in "Crackers Don't Matter"--of all the OMFG moments of Farscape, this is somehow the OMFG-iest for me. Perhaps because it's the first? That's more of an "I can't believe they just DID that" flappy hands moment, as opposed to "OMG YAY!" flappy hands moment.

From de23, Top five moments of friendship (not romance) angst (what an awesome prompt! though I'm definitely veering more towards "bittersweet," which may not be quite what you mean by "angst")

5. Talyn's funeral

4. Teal'c after "Unending"

3. pretty much the entire series finale of Babylon 5

2. CJ and Toby, "Institutional Memory"

1. John and D'Argo, PK Wars
