*Bounce*
Hello world, I'm back to my computer again after being away on wedding/honeymoon fun.
Speaking of weddings I have four sounds that I will never forget at my wedding -- kazat, WAH, ring-ring and CLINK, Clink, clink.
In case you need a translation, kazat is the sound a snake makes when he stretches across two insulating posts for electric wires, frying himself and leaving two cities without power for almost two hours.
The wah is obviously a baby's cry that was actually well timed because the pastor was reading a passage and as he said "a baby's cry" a baby cried.
Ring-ring was the sound of someone's cell phone going off while Lee was saying his vows. Grr! If I ever find out who it was they better watch out.
CLINK, Clink, clink is the sound Lee's ring made when it slipped off the maid of honor's thumb. We all got a good chuckle at that.
I have to say, that even with the things that went wrong, I had a blast at my wedding. Sure the power went out in the middle of the groom's pictures before the wedding. The important things were it was a pretty day outside, so they just moved to the front steps and the power came back on time for the mothers (and me) to walk down the aisle.
I should actually say there are five sounds I will always remember. The last being laughter. The wedding was truly a joyous affair and no one was going to let anything get us down.
Lee and I honeymooned in Savannah and Washington D.C. It was really cool, 'cause I had been to Savannah before, but not D.C., and Lee had been to D.C., but not Savannah. We went to lots of stores and spent more money than we should have, but we had a blast.
Well it's late and I actually have to work in the morning. My second day back from two weeks off. *Groan* Wish me luck
Until next time, may winged unicorns watch over your dreams.
