Good friends
I've always realized that I had good friends, and that they thought well of me, but most of the time I don't think about it. At my wedding, I got to see how much they cared. The best man, Tobias, has been friends with Lee since they were in junior high (8th grade I think). I met him when he moved to Auburn in his 10th grade year.
As the best man, Tobias, gave a very touching toast at the reception. I find it ironic that some if his words echoed something Melissa had said a few days before.
To two of my dearest friends -- Lee and Jana -- to their union, their future, and to all the adventures they will share throughout their new life. To Lee, whose dedication to his friends is surpassed only by the love he has in his heart for Jana; and to Jana, who brings light and warmth to wherever life may take her. To knowing that through whatever trials they may face, they will face them together as man and wife: A loving union, a partnership and friendship. My friends -- may every day for you be greater than the day before. To the bride and groom!
Needless to say, Lee and I were very touched by his words, and I know I can't thank him enough for introducing me to Lee.
