Apparently the kind of Pokémon he had become was not really one for being cooped up (doh ho ho) inside, and it wasn't long before he was completely adverse to being stuck indoors. There is a giant blue turtle guy and he's... lifting boulders up a hill and then... getting down on the ground and it looks like he's... bench pressing boulders.

Huh this seems somehow familiar.

Falcon is not terribly pleased about this. He is chilling in a nearby tree watching.

THERE ARE A MILLION POFFINS AT SCHOOL, GO EAT POFFINS.

He is just going to keep. Lifting boulders. Over and over again. He will do this for the next hour if you let him.

POFFINS ARE JUNK FOOD AND HUNTING WILDLIFE IS MORE FUN.

This Blastoise is behaving in a vaguely familiar fashion, so Falcon calls out to him from his tree. "HEY."

YEAH AND WHEN YOU TRANSFORM BACK WITH HALF-RAW CHIPMUNK IN YOUR STOMACH, YOU'LL WISH YOU'D EATEN POFFINS.

The Blastoise stops lifting giant rocks for a minute and looks around. "Yeah, what?" he calls out, a boulder suspended in the air.

DELICIOUS WOODLAND CREATURES.

"Are you "lifting"?

He is still in the tree, being incredulous.

[tank_rockarms]

"Yeah of course, what does it look like I'm doin'? Makin' icecream? Where are you? I can't see you with this rock in my face."

[fire_pawnch]

It might be ice cream. Who knows.

"So put the rock down."

That seems like a logical answer to Falcon.

[tank_rockarms]

"Hold on. I've got fifteen more reps on this set before I can quit," he said.

If there was any doubt at all about who this was, I'm pretty sure it was just cleared up.

"And what side should I throw it to when I'm done? I don't wanna smash you."

"I'm in a tree, Max. Just don't throw the rock into any trees."

Painfully obvious.

[tank_rockarms]

"HOW," he puffed between reps, "DO. YOU. KNOW. I. AM. MAX. I. COULD. BE. ANY. BODY."

His pokebiceps strained to get it up the last couple of times, and he sort of roared in a terrifying manner as he finished, and tossed the rock off to one side. He stood up and looked around him, trying to figure out who in the world he was talking to.

"You're in the middle of the woods, lifting rocks, and when I asked you to put it down, you told me you had fifteen more reps to do."

Once the boulder was out of the way, Falcon assumed it was safe to leave his perch, jumping down out of the tree. "You're Max."

"I could be... Knuckles, maybe," he said, after some thought. "But yeah, I'm Max."

"Who're you?" he asked, eying the strange birdman.

[fire_pawnch]

"You're also blue." Not that it necessarily had anything to do with anything, but when one combined "big", "blue", and "lifting weights", the logical association was Max.

Falcon wondered for a moment if he should divulge his identity but he figured it was only fair, given the fact that he'd guessed Max's so easily. "Falcon." He replied simply.

[tank_rockarms]

"Ha, you're some sorta giant bird thing, alright. Dang your face looks weird," said Max. "Bet a dollar you're a fire type, too."

[fire_pawnch]

Falcon looked mildly perturbed. "My face is not weird You're a...giant turtle." It was not weird for a bird to have a beak, you're weird, Max.

"And I am a fire type." So there.
