I'm really enjoying this time to myself. I got the house unpacked, just in time for my goal, and it looks awesome :)
I spoiled myself, and I like it. I got a fancy haircut, with layers and a frame around my face, and I also got copper and red low-lights. I look smexy :D
I am really feeling like this spring is going to be good.

I have decided to basically take a semester off from school. I will still be in band, and I'm getting an incomplete in my ceramics class so I can work up there in the spring. Other than that, I will have time for me, and to work on the house. I'm keeping the house pretty darn clean, with the exception of the boxes, but I'm working on that too. ( Read more... )

We got our first piece of new furniture! It is a swivel chaise lounge, a.k.a a round loveseat that spins. It. Is. Awesome! It is upstairs in the room that I want to be the reading/social room. Later we will add more furniture. But for now it is good ( Read more... )

She accepted our offer! We will be moving into our awesome house in October!

I have this superstitious part of my mind that tells me that the more I talk about this before it's a done deal, the less likely it is that it will happen. I just have to tell that part of me to shove it.

We have been looking at houses. Lots of houses. I was getting discouraged, because of our price limitation, and what kind of houses you can get for your money around here, but now I'm excited! I'm kind of afraid of jinxing things if I give details though... I just want to get this whole process done with! Wish us luck or pray for us!

My back is doing better, but not healed. It gets worse the more heavy stuff I do, like making my awesome jomone jar, or playing my tenor sax, or drawing. Pretty much all my artistic classes at school hurt me. I just go home and lay in bed with a heat pad and ibuprofen ( Read more... )
