it's amazing really, the value of books. a book is basically the culmination of a person's entire heart, soul, and intellect. it is the result of thousands of hours of hard labor. in the best works of literature, each page contains more wit and wisdom and emotion than the majority of people have in their pinky. surely such a rare gift would be worth countless riches? but no - and this is the best thing about books - you can get them for free. anything in the world you might want to read, you can just go and get it, for free, at the library. ahh, the book. is there anything else in this life that is worth so much and costs so little?
and so ends the ramblings of a book-thumping lit nerd.
