Freezing again this morning. It should warm up a bit, the sun is out. :) I can also add that the daffs have grown about 5” in the past couple of days. I want to plant some about the water feature in the back garden but didn’t get to it last fall - maybe this fall.

The snowfall was so heavy that I only got ½ of the shoveling done yesterday and I will have to finish it up today. ARGH! Today is bright and sunny but they tell us that more snow on its way. For now there are pretty little snow diamonds on the roof and I am going to enjoy the sparkle - this is about the only thing I like about snow just in case you ( Read more... )

The rising of the sun only provided our world with that steely ice blue glow since we are under clouds and covered with snow. I must admit that it is kinda pretty. We got 5 and a bit inches yesterday and are currently sitting a 2 degrees. Burr! It’s a white world out there and the plowed drive looks like an ice slide.

Yesterday was a busy day. It ended with going to see a friend give a talk at one of our local libraries. My knitting accompanied me all day, of course - I am definitely not afraid to knit in public. Another good chunk done on the shawl.
