Ouch! I got a sliver in my little finger and it sure makes it difficult to type!
It is an early morning for me. 3 am rolled around and I was wide awake. Go figure.
The middle of the quilt top is now all sewn together. Next up is to figure out how to border it. I played with several variations but will probably ask friend Cheryl to weight in on this one, after all she is going to have to quilt it one of these days. I don’t want to add too much to the sides but do want to ads some length to the top and bottom since it is square. I also started playing around with double prairie points for the edge binding. This morning I was watching a video clip of an interview of Helen Mirren and the camera cut to the interviewer and I started to giggle because he was looking something like a Macaroni penguin - shame on his hairdresser, and yes, shame on me, it is not nice of me to laugh at someone’s misfortunate hair style. http://www.nothingbutpenguins.com/about-penguins/penguin-types/macaroni-penguins/
That was my second giggle of the morning - the first was a tongue-in-cheek piece on the bad behavior of dolphins where the comments section of the piece had me in stitches.

Apparently we have another nor’easter on the way for tomorrow. Joy. Rain and snow mix. Right now the sun is painting the hills orangey pink.

The President can urge the Court to side with consumers; then Congress will probably weigh in on the issue, no matter how the Court rules.
If we lose this fight, anybody who wants to resell foreign products, from Macbooks and iPhones to our clothing and textbooks, will have to ask copyright holders for permission first. And they'll have the right to deny it!
