I forgot to set down in this journal yesterday about the baby kitties getting their first collars. You would have thought you were at a rodeo complete with cow hopping horses or watching their version of Pepe LePew plonking (yes, plonking is a real word) on screen. And yes, they have both managed to get the collars off a couple of times - and I put them right back on - but they seem to be getting more used to them…slowly. They were still on this morning
Yesterday, Dearest was back and forth between our offices giving me tennis updates…something incredible happened at Wimbledon. There was a tennis match that would not end between John Isner and Nicolas Mahunt. After 7 hours and 6 minutes into the fifth set the umpire called a halt to play. It stood at two sets each, 59, 59. Play will resume today. Oh! And maybe the Queen will be there to watch. Apparently, she is making an appearance.
Epic halted at 59-59 in fifth set
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/tennis/8757259.stm It was hot and humid yesterday and it looks like we will be receiving much the same today. I did take my camera to the farmer’s market yesterday and found some beautiful mushrooms. Aren't they beautiful?
I finished up another small project in the knitting realm and started another one last night as we watched a movie.
Go see what this crocheter does.
