(no subject)
Damn I keep forgeting my b-day is tomorrow, my manager reminded me this morning lol it's a little sad if you think about it, but not really. Yesterday Cristina and I went down to Santa Cruz to go zip lining. Traffic was crazy out of San Jose and we proceeded to get lost... why would a small town have two roads with the same name withing a mile of eachother? But it turned out that two people from the tour after us took our spots so there was space in the later tour. Zip lining was freaking amazing!!!! we climbed half way up some coastal redwoods and from 100 ft up in the air we jumped out onto a cable it was scarier then I thought at first but so worth it! I want to go again sometime, Cris and I now have a plan to incrementaly climbed the ladder of crazy extreme activities until we jump out of a plane... I'm thinking 25th b-day. On the drive down there though we started talking more about our families, we've known eachother for four years and we never really talked about it b4, it turns out that we both have exactly the same situation with dads, well her step dad and my dad. I've never talked to anyone before that really understood what I had to deal with, with all the bullshit. It was nice to finally get some validation from someone instead of being told that I was exageratting and being and ungrateful little ingrate.... Someone that got what I really mean when I talk about my second family and what that bond really means to me. It's something I've never ever been able to get across to my best friends it's a situation you really have to live to understand although I've tried.. Tomorrow will be fun though, I'm pulling a full shift in the morning, meaning open till 4 but it will be mostly inventories and re stocking and fun stuff then Jeremy and I are going out on the town for our annual Jess and Jeremy hunt for cake, no plans no itinerary who knows what will happen. We will probably stop at hot cookie for a penis cookie but that's a much anyway. We'll see where this all goes... but next year I think I'm going to take on some white water rapids over my birthday.!
