Austin
As promised, Chris, bretthoerner, pbaseball24 and myself trekked down to San Antonio and Austin this weekend. The main purpose of the trip, and the reason the speedometer never dipped below 80, was to secure permanent lodgings for pbaseball24. We had our pick of a new complex with a hot leasing agent in the ghetto, or a slightly older complex in a really nice area. In the end, pbaseball24 went with bretthoerner's advice of "Location, location, location!"
Then we went to 6th street, as it is the thing to do in Austin.
When you spill something, bread makes a surprisingly effective sponge.
This couple was screaming and fighting in Coyote Ugly. They disappeared for awhile, and we forgot about them, until Cowboy picked Girl up and carried her out of the bar, followed by several Ugly employees. I hung around outside and eavesdropped until the police showed up; apparently they won't change for each other, and she wouldn rather sit with her family than with him at the bar.
This dude bought us drinks. Huzzah!
Brett actually fell asleep like this for about three minutes.
