wrapped up in the rich timbre of strings
On Sunday, I met with a friend who plays cello and her friend who plays violin and we sight read through parts of trios by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Vivaldi and Schubert. We settled on the Schubert, Trio in Eb Op. 100. It's my first trio! \o/ I've got the first four pages in my fingers, at slow tempo (Q=60-69). My goal is to get 2 pages a day into my fingers. I'll see how it goes.
