Here's what I'm thinking: I'm really fucking excited for Burning Man.

Somehow, the entire intermediate three weeks or so is nowhere for me right now. And yet, there is so much (objectively) there. What the fuck?

Berlin was a very good idea. It's a fascinating city for reasons that should have been obvious before I got there. Also, I will chalk it up as my first independent travel success. Yesterday morning I was at a bed and breakfast in Dover due to the first of a series of staggeringly bad guesses. Since then, I've failed a lot. As a result, I'm somewhat unexpectedly in Berlin. It looks like quite a nice place. I may stick around for a while.

My route so far, including tomorrow's trip, via car with immediate family, to London.
