A delicous quesadilla

Oct 28, 2006 16:14

I bring you a recipe you might not have thought of. It was designed, implemented and tested at yesterday evening's potluck, and doclabyrinth gave it the rank of "inspired". I am quite proud:

>
tortilla(s)
grated chedder cheese
white onion
olive oil
Macoun apple
butter

1. Dice white onion and sautee in olive oil in a skillet on medium heat.
2. Core and chop apple into thin slices.
3. Toast tortilla lightly in oven.
4. Grease another skillet with some butter.
5. Put tortilla on the buttered skillet, and add cheese, onion, apple slices, and more cheese on top. Cover with another tortilla or fold over.
6. Heat tortilla until cheese melts and the tortilla is of desired texture. Flip at some point. Serve hot.

EDIT:

This will blow your mind.

apple, potluck, quesadilla
