In February, Joe got me a potted plant instead of roses for Valentine's/Anniversary day. At the time, they looked like this:
As of today, my Gerbera Daisies look like
(yes, those are solar flowers in the window. There's a daisy too in the other window that you can't see)
I've never had a house plant before, so I'm feeling super awesome and proud of myself. Over the weekend I picked up an African Violet, too. It's looking a little perkier than it did at the store but it's been cloudy/rainy all week so it hasn't gotten too much sunlight. Hopefully in a few months I'll be able to have some awesome pictures of that one, too.
