Have clearly had an excellent Valentine's weekend! Altho the groaning floorboards are a little disconcerting! ;-)

Wander/Gail gave me an idea. Here's what I'm looking for, and if there are folks in the Austin area can spare any of them:

• coat hangers!
• a toaster oven (not terribly complex)
• a clothes rack (like this one. just an example )
• a couple of sharp knives
• some cooking utensils (spatulas, slotted spoons, etc)

I've just come in from standing in the rain for half an hour-ish from a fire alarm -- apparently a real fire on the 4th floor! Same as the big dog excitement last night. The fire department cleared the hotel ( Read more... )
