Wow! Excitement!
I've just come in from standing in the rain for half an hour-ish from a fire alarm -- apparently a real fire on the 4th floor! Same as the big dog excitement last night. The fire department cleared the hotel.
Next time I'm going to take a coat, tho. It was gently raining and about 40 degrees. A bunch of us went to stand under a nearby bank's drive-through awning to get out of the rain.
The cool thing was that everyone emptied out the building, came out the stairways as in the correct procedure. Half of them were smoking and drinking, but still, they all came out.
Wonder what would have happened if this had gone off during the Super Bowl?
