Show update.
Currently watching:
Weeds (oh Weeds..where have the good days gone; your episodes are so short as it is- why can't you DO something with them? I don't laugh enough)
Dexter
The United States of Tara (that's a very new one, and I watched it so quickly as there have only been 2 half-hour episode, 12 episode seasons thus far...but it's a very good show)
Bones
Gravity (10 episode season? wow, premium channels have short runs)
The Big C ..only seen 2 or 3 episodes, but it's Laura Linney, so what's not to like?
and of course House.
Recently finished:
Veronica Mars (which I really liked, and was sad they cancelled after 3 seasons even though I knew it had been cancelled years ago..oh, and tuning in once to watch an ep. Alyson Hannigan was in and thereby deciding what I thought of the show? bad idea- they gave Buffy alums the worst characters)
Show to try out:
True Blood...it's on its way from Netflix. I'm missing vampires (more notably and particularly Buffy)..so we'll see. I'm skeptical. Though I do like Anna Paquin. Mostly because of that goose movie.
I think that's it. And as of last night, I had a sudden resurgence of Spuffy love (after watching Suburban Girl starring SMG..which is better than the cover makes it look) and have been reading B/S smut (naughty me)
It's funny how most of my shows now air on premium channels (mostly Showtime) and how with the exception of House, I've started watching and got caught up in all of them this year (and with a span from 5 days to a couple months to watch all of each).
Do you guys know that Scream 4 is coming out next April?? Now who thought THaT was officially over? I'm still bitter about the IKWYD3SA (can anyone figure out what that stands for?) never happening, lol. That sure brings you back. Another Scream. With the original (still living) stars and everything. I remember Scream 3 being quite bad though. Or was that 2? I don't think I ever saw 2. No wait- did SMG have the cameo in 2? If so, I did see it. Maybe it'll be more like 1. I came across it b/c Kristen Bell has some kind of role in it- probably (hopefully) a cameo a la Drew Barrymore's in 1.
Enough with the numbers already.
I really want to buy the Buffy box set at last, but it is still at least a hundred dollars (I'm stalking an ebay auction right now that's at $90 and has 2 hours left. you know how that goes. and boy, what a steal!)
Oh media nostalgia, there's nothing like it. Including rl nostalgia.
