Resolute..
My New Year's Resolution (I don't usually make one and it's a total toss-up if I can do this or not..and leaving a few, albeit large, options could hopefully help fulfill it):
To find something this year that I can take into the next year. Less vaguelly: a job or degree program, a place to live, a person in my life.
So that next December, instead of squatting in this little room my parents own and keep for me, I can have some tangible evidence that I've grown up and truly embarked on an independent, adult life for myself. Even if did spend 10 months straight living away on my own and working in my field this year, somehow the 2 months at home now makes the rest of it feel a little false. And particularly since I don't have my next job yet.
