I have finished The Stand and have to admit it is probably one of the best books I've ever read. Silly, huh? Stephen King. Keep in mind, Dear Friends, that I'm not nearly as well read as most of you. :)

It's definitely a book I want to read again. And probably again, and again... :)

I managed to focus enough time to read the new Potter book and actually not feel as though I rushed. What a wonderful book! I can hardly wait to discuss it with the rest of you.

I Googled that book I was asking about.  It's by one of "today's" trendy authors, Barbara Taylor Bradford.  Sometimes that stuff is fun to read, but unless one of you has read it and ejoyed it, I doubt I make the effort now.  But who knows, maybe again I will.  I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I went scrapping tonight with the group I chickened out with from before.  I really thought about backing out, but I needed a break and a forced one seemed to be the key.  It actually went really well.  Rich came over to since it was at our friend's house and the husbands watched the kiddos.  This helped a lot because he could take care of ( Read more... )
