This week of training has gone decently. Thus far I have logged 8 miles with a 10 miler this weekend. That will put me at 18 miles for the week and that is pretty good in my book. I did walk today's "run" but I really hate the dreadmill and I could tell that my ankle was going to hate it if I ran so I figured why risk it.
My goal from here on out is to not miss a long run and to actually finish the marathon without getting swept. Yup that is about it.
Here is what the schedule looks like
10/18- 10
10/25- 6 (Komen 5K plus some extra miles)
11/1- 12
11/8- 6
11/15- 14
11/22- 8
11/29- 16 (Bartram Marathon/50K, I am just going to hit 16 miles and then stop)
12/6- 8
12/13- 18 (Will be participating in a 12 hour race but just going to stop once I hit 18 miles)
12/20- 8
12/27- 20
1/3- 6
1/11- Race
