Reginald and Bells
Since we got a bunch of JW toys at work, I'd been eyeing the Holee Roller bird toy. But for $8.50? No thanks. However, last week it was half off (plus my 15% employee discount) and I snagged it for Reginald.
And he loves it. Slash hates it. He's always had a thing for bells, constantly trying to get the clapper out (which is why I only buy things with bird-safe bells), but with this, he can't get to it. He bonks the toy with his head, bites it, shakes it with his feet, and the sound of the bell keeps him interested for a long time. I just hang it near one of his perches and shake it a bit if I need to be doing something and he needs to be in his cage, and I can hear the bell going as I cook dinner or vacuum or whatever.
If any of you have birdies that like bells (and aren't small enough to shove their faces through the holes) I'd really recommend this toy.
