The one good thing to come out of Atlantis’ cancellation is that Sci-Fi seems to want to burn through the episodes as quickly as possible. Which mean we only have to wait two weeks instead of three to six mouths to find out what happens next.

Wonderful episode.

Yes it was a bit of a tearjerker and you knew that Rodney was going to get better in the end, but even so this was a good episode.

I loved how they started off in the middle - and saw what happened through flashbacks. And the clips of Rodney’s deterioration as he goes from a nice version of himself to a very young child were ( Read more... )

To be honest I'm not that surprised...not because of the ratings or anything it is just that SciFi doesn't like to keep things around that long.

Very nice interview with lots of talk of how he views Rodney and the fact that he himself is a nerd.  He talks a bit about Starcrossed  and A Dog's Breakfast 2 as well. This episode - as with a few others - really do show us how far Rodney McKay has come since we first saw him in 48 Hours.   This is man who would understand why Carter was so unwilling to just give up on Teal’c.   I loved how through out the episode Rodney was one trying to get everyone to believe that this Carson was just as good as the old one.
