Protip! So far, the only person I know who's successfully done a Biblical analogy is C.S. Lewis.

Seriously, bb, how are you managing this without booze? XD

OMG rofl, I just sent this to her in IMs before I saw your comment:

*le sigh* oh, gloria. XD CS Lewis did it so much better. My friend like, hates the Narnia series because it's full of fairly thinly veiled religious metaphor. The difference is, narnia is at least quite enjoyable to read XD

"King Pollo" = King Chicken in spanish LOL!!

The Encouragers? Sounds like a cheerleading squad from Bible camp. Honestly a cheerleading squad getting lost in the "totally different world, Joey" would have been so much more fun!!!

Why does Maya just randomly start talking about her love life and how they have no internet at home?? wow.

King Astroturf? omg does he have a crown and a bedazzled stick and a red cape lined with white fur that has black dots on it like in the cartoons?? \~/

*hands you eye-drops* you will need them!! but remember, if it feels like your eyes might be trying to crawl inside of your head and hide behind your brain, it's because they are.

I say it 'paulo' because otherwise, that's an insult to the chicken.

And why? Because she's a Mary Sue. THAT is why.

Actually, it's interesting because you can usually see what she's trying to set up, it just doesn't... work.

Like with the sudden rambling, it's supposed to be her ~lack of confidence~ and the typical ~but I'm just a normal person~ which she will ~overcome as she does great things in this new world~.

But it just doesn't come out in the right words in practice.

That toad looks like an amphibian drag act.

"I can already smell the smoke of the burning fire when you last test, the 'burnt offering' is successfully completed and the people of Maradonia are inspired, stimulated and by the success of 'The Encouragers'."

That last bit sounds like an ad for air freshner. "Encouragers, for inspiration and stimulation."

"Also, King Astro has no wife or kids. Methinks the pool of blood he dove in left him shooting blanks, but hey, just a theory."

It is a prime example of how my mind works is that I immediately saw this as proof of Astro being gay and in a relationship with Apollyon.

"Faith is like a magnet in your heart and a compass in your head!"
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
I don't think Tesch knows how compasses work....or is she trying to say that you head will always point towards your heart? Or else the Heart Magnet is really weak in comparison to Earth's magnetic field, so the moral compass thing works. Why am I thinking about this? Tesch obviously didn't.

I don't think "compass" means what she thinks it means.
