On the way home from school, Dominic was talking to his friends about some Chinese emperor who had 500 wives.

Dominic's class had their SA1 English Show & Tell this week. The test was spread over 3 days and his was on the last day. About a month ago, I panicked when I discovered that Mimi was way behind in his work. While reading a book to him, I casually pointed to the 'z' in the word 'zoo' and asked him what it was. I knew he didn't know zoo. He could not read yet. But when he could not even tell me that the alphabet was 'z', I panicked big time ( Read more... )

He was very self-conscious when I took pictures/video of him. :P Clips taken with my handphone, so quality is not very good.

Since the beginning of the year, Mimi has been going for JMC lessons. I have been trying to gauge his interest in music since last year. Brought him to Mandeville to enquire about the lessons there but he was terrified that I would leave him at that place. Dunno why. Speaking of being a big boy, last December, the boy managed to 'con' his father to buy him a new pair of school shoes.
