Okay, what are some creative ways to be social or have fun without spending a lot of money?

The list so far:

• Game nights: Invite people over for board/card games and snacks. This would just cost a bag or two of chips and some pop...plus it's an excuse for me to buy Settlers of Catan.

Well, for a few minutes this morning and about an hour tonight, I've been trying to organize a tote of supplies for the fun match I'm in charge of organizing for my kennel club's show this year.
