After accepting Renji's invitation to go on a short little quest with him and his friends, Matsuri closed her journal and began packing a small bag of clothes and other necessary supplies. She had wanted to bring along a tent and sleeping bag, but unfortunately, a thorough search of all the closets and dressers in the room only turned up a sleeping bag. No tent. Pursing her lips in a mild gesture of distaste, she thought about asking the castle for those items, although then again, it might be easier to just share a tent with one of the other girls on the trip. If they didn't mind her presence, of course. Worse come to worse, she could find a cave somewhere and rest inside there - that was something she had done on missions before, when she or her teammates were lacking, or lost supplies during their traveling.

Matsuri hadn't explored very much of the forest because she only used part of it for training, although to her knowledge, there were no monsters around, so that was a small load off the mind. Nevertheless, she still ( ... )

Sora still wasn't entirely convinced the Nobodies would listen when he tried speaking to them (after all, the conversation with Demyx had been left pretty open-ended, and...well the other guy still never acknowledged him...) but for now, he supposed he'd just nod. He wasn't going to let residual bad PR with the Nobodies ruin this trip. He'd figure something out eventually, but for now, this was about having a good time with his friends and exploring the woods ( ... )

Renji had no idea what to do with Oni-Hanzou. He supposed that just leaving a big bowl of food and water for the cat in his absence would suffice, but he honestly wasn't sure. And so he'd left a note on his door when he'd left, asking Lelouch to pop in on the cat if he didn't return by morning. Since he hadn't heard back from him about joining the excursion, Renji just assumed the boy was busy...but since he lived across the hall, he'd probably see the note. It was convenient to be on good terms with the neighbors after all!

The billowing sleeves of his uniform tended to get in the way when Renji tried to wear a backpack, and so he'd opted to dress down for the little adventure in the woods. He'd been surprised to find that the wardrobe in the room was fully stocked, and had pawed through the clothes until he found something that suited his fancy. Maybe it was less that he had no sense of fashion and more that he honestly thought the combinations he put together made him look cool, but whatever his excuse, Renji was dressed ( ... )
