The first thought that properly filtered through Watanuki's mind was that there wasn't the scent of inscence anywhere. Only the harsh smell of a hospital and the constant murmurs of the healers, ghosts and the castle.
It took a few more minutes before Watanuki could bring himself to open his eyes to get a look at his surroundings.
