[When Lilah wakes up, she doesn't notice that her journal has been knocked to the floor sometime during the night. Or that it was open. In fact, at first, when she wakes up, she thinks she has been sent back home, back to Wolfram and Hart finally.
Because it seems like she's in her office. Instead of her bed, she's lying with her head on her desk, like she often has when working on a particularly difficult case. But as her eyes adjust, she begins to notice something.
It's her office but it's wrong.
Back home, her office had always been so neat. So organized. All her files tucked away in their cabinets with a few locks and protection spells there to keep from anything getting stolen. But the room she's in here, it's anything but neat.
The desk has a huge crack in the expensive, finely polished wood.
The cabinets have all been forced open.
Overall, there's a sense of violation. Someone has broken into this private space. Moved things around. Broken them. Forced things to work ways they weren't supposed to be.]
Someone's been in here.
[Her voice sounds almost paniced and she gets up to her feet, beginning to move around the room. She tries to reorganize the papers, to put them back where they belong but no matter how hard she tries, the mess remains. She tries wishing things back but nothing changes.
Everything is damaged and her will alone isn't enough to fix it.]
There has to be a way to set this right.
There has to be a way to fix it.
I won't let him win.
[Of course who he is at the moment seems almost unclear. It's about now that Lilah spots her journal, however, she hasn't quite registered yet that she's still in the Castle and not at home. So she snaps it shut and goes back to her task at hand.
There has to be a way to set things right again.]
[ooc: Open like an open thing. Feel free to respond in the journal or to come to Lilah's room and interact with her there.]
