[Charles can immediately tell somethings different. Not in an unwelcome way, but for some reason, he feels very exposed. As he sits himself up, bracing his arms behind him, he notices that the bedroom he's occupying looks less like a bedroom, and more like a dusty office.]
Well...that's certainly different...
[Pulling his legs over the side of the bed so he can seat himself in his wheelchair, Charles can hear a humming coming from somewhere nearby, it sounds like his own humming when he's doing some sort of busywork. Charles quirks his eyebrow, fascinated but confused by what he's seeing and hearing. He rolls himself to the door, only to find that the door doesn't lead out into the hallway, but instead into
a large circular room, ringed by a walkway which spirals it's way up the outer wall for several stories. "It's like a warehouse inside of a silo..." he thinks to himself, looking up at the ceiling. At the very top of the walkway is a circular stained glass window, bearing the liknesses of Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, and Neils Bohr. Charles locates the source of the humming, coming from what appears to be another version of himself, with functioning legs, organizing stacks of file boxes into better order on the shelves. This Other Xavier waves good-naturedly at his crippled counterpart before returning to his work. Charles notices his journal open on a neaby desk, so he wheels himself over to it, smiling.]
Fascinating. It appears as though my bedroom's gone through some sort of transformation. There's...another me here. One who can walk. I think I'll go have a chat with him, see if the handsome devil can shed some light on what's happened here.
[There's a creak of Charles's wheelchair as he pushes it on to do just that. He'll be around, poking around at the files in here, but obviously anyone is able to, and welcome to come in and have a peek.]
[OOC: Yup, Chuck's woken up in his Headspace. He'll figure out he's inside of his own mind soon enough, so have at him, and Dream Him, and feel free to poke around in his memories of home, his family, and his collection of science-y pick-up lines XD]
