Without the telepaths, I can count the total on two hands. Out of hundreds who live here, and hundreds who pass through, less than eleven people.

[ She'd be irritated with that too except she just does not care laksdfj at the moment and is more like COME ON INO WHY DID YOU NEVER ASK IF YOU WONDERED GOLLY. She stands up, eyes narrowed at Ino. ]

[.... :( she just looks a little confused and a little guilty. she knew sakura was having a hard time communicating with people, so it wasn't like she was surprised that she was learning a new language to be able to talk more efficiently ... but was she mad that ino didn't understand it, too ... ?

it really says something about her time here that instead of actually full on fighting with her, or arguing, or anything ... that she'd rather just apologize and sort it out. if sakura left tomorrow -- and it wouldn't be the first time she'd been on bad terms with her here, or the first time a friend had left in the middle of an argument -- she'd feel insanely guilty about her having left without any closure or forgiveness, especially if she didn't come back for a long time ]

[ Sakura had told herself time and again not to make things harder on Ino. Yet here she was, doing exactly that. She's an empathetic girl, and she can see more in why Ino's apologizing than anything else. No jokes, no name calling, no anything.

She knows why. The same fear as always, only worse, compounded over time. She signs -- letting her anger simmer down, deflating, because it's not really Ino she's angry at -- signs "I'm sorry" back, mouthing along. She really is... and that wasn't the point. This whole thing had been a silly exercise, and she'd prefer it returned to that.

So she looks down into her open journal and taps on a response, lips curling up. Look, will you read that, Ino? ]

[she just kind of pauses to watch her and read her expression -- it's ... sort of awkward, handling things with her this way. she stares for a moment longer, before the smile returns to her face -- she'd much rather this go back to the fun and silly thing it was originally, before she moves next to her to look into the journal, glancing down at the response, before looking back at sakura]
