Oh no! [a laugh] I didn't make her. Big ship like that, I don't got the money or the know-how to build one from scratch. [though...that sounds like a fun project...>.>] But I keep her runnin' smooth as I can...make sure she stays sound.

Impressive. Can't say I've heard of too many women in that line of work, but I'm sure not complaining. Someone's got to give the menfolk a run for their money.

[laughs] Oh, it's unusual enough where I'm from too, I guess. It just came to me sorta natural, growing up. My daddy says I have a gift.

How are you with smaller gadgets? I've got a few little projects I've been considering, just to pass the time. [And maybe make anything or one that tries to hurt people explode, or at least hurt a lot themselves.]

But I'm a fair good hand at most things mechanical, so's if you got an idea you're wantin' to play with, I'm happy to help.

Mostly I'm working on some designs for non-lethal projectile weapons. Kind of a hobby, I guess.

[She does a quick sketch of one of her trick arrow designs- a slightly modified version of Green Arrow's bola-arrow, with some changes to make it more aero-dynamic, for easier aiming.]

Don't look too difficult. You got the parts already? I've been hearin' that wishin' don't work so well with weapons and the like, but I'm sure there's places to go scroungin', it comes to that.

True. [what was with these people and their weird ways of speaking?] The strange part was the fact we had uncovered a tank out there. The others tried to get it to work.

A tank? Really? Like from a war?

Wonder what a tank was doin' all the way out in the middle o'nowhere...?

[this one's outside flying a home made helicopter around, making zooming noises as she makes it do loop dee loops]

[Kaylee's got one of the flowers in her hands, breathing deep, when she catches sight of the girl. She'll just stand back, smiling a bit as she watches]

NYUUUUUU [she sends it on another loop dee loop, but it banks too far to one side and careens into a bush. Edward leans too far over as she watches it, loses balance and falls to one side, landing in a heap in the grass, giggling] Pilot error!

[laughing with her] Ain't that just the worst bit o'luck?

[coming over, she'll rescue the contraption from the bush. She's about to hand it back to Ed when she actually takes a look at the handiwork]
