I know everyone's been sayin' they were friendly an' all, but I gots to say... I'm all manner of relieved them spiders aren't still around. Gave me the willies, wanderin' all about the place like that.
[doodling a little flower in the corner of the page as she continues] It's kinda nice, havin' a bit of free time. Like a vacation of sorts. But I

But I'm a fair good hand at most things mechanical, so's if you got an idea you're wantin' to play with, I'm happy to help.

[She does a quick sketch of one of her trick arrow designs- a slightly modified version of Green Arrow's bola-arrow, with some changes to make it more aero-dynamic, for easier aiming.]
Can you see that? I'm still getting used to these book things.

Don't look too difficult. You got the parts already? I've been hearin' that wishin' don't work so well with weapons and the like, but I'm sure there's places to go scroungin', it comes to that.
[she's used to that, unfortunately]

I've got a lot of the parts for this already, this is mostly modifying some stuff I already have.

I'm in 715. And you sound nice and safe and all, but I feel like I should warn you that if you're going to come here under the guise of helping, just in order to cause trouble... well. It'll majorly suck for you if that's the case.
Assuming you're genuine in your offer, and I didn't just scare the crap out of you, come on down whenever you have the time.

That ain't far from me. I can be there in a shake an' you can sees whether I'm on the level yourself.

I'll be here. Oh, and you can call me Speedy, by the way.
[And indeed, she can be found in 715 (the door is open), sitting at a table on which she has unpacked her quiver upon. Loooots of arrows, of both the trick and mundane pointy variety. She's still in her mask and costume, hence giving the super-friendly woman her codename instead of her real one.]

I'm Kaylee. It'll just be a jiff.
[and she'll head up the two flights of stairs to hunt down 715, toolkit tucked under one arm]

Okay, you look... well. Like I was hoping, I guess. Hi, it's nice to meet you in person. [She puts the weapons back on the table.]

Any surprise is quickly pushed aside for a smile, though, as she offers her free hand] Kaylee.
Nice t' put a face to a name. Can't say I've gone and met all that many of the folks speakin' in that book. [eyes sparking with interest as she focuses on the arrows] Them the ones you were hopin' to work on?

"It's kind of... workwear, I guess you could say. And yeah, just kind of tinkering a bit with these." [She picks up one of the trick arrows] This one's the one I sketched, but feel free to have a look at any of them, see if you can make any suggestions. [A pause] Just be careful with those ones there. [She points] Flashbangs.

Everything's gotta be non-lethal, with a focus on restraint, [She holds up one of the glue arrows as an example] or temporary incapacitation. [like this here Tazer-inspired arrow she's holding]
Right now, I'm trying to improve the trigger that releases the bolas. [The arrow she's indicating has three heavy-ish weights attatched to cables that wrap around and restrain a target on contact] Sometimes it's a little delayed, so sometimes it just ends up being a, uh... heavy-knocking-down-arrow. Effective, but a little overdesigned if that's going to be it's purpose. [She chuckles a little]
[She pauses for a second. Realizing her name- her real name- is on the door, she sighs, and pulls off her mask] You might as well be able to see my face. This place doesn't seem to be really keen on letting me keep my identity secret. [A nod to the name- ( ... )

A little bit of shavin' oughta fix that up, no worries.
[the rest of Speedy's speech pulls her out of her musing, though] Secret identity? If you're on the side o' the law, why'd you go and need to hide yerself?
