I'm proud of my Chinese heritage, but I never did quite like some Chinese things, especially when it comes to government. I wish everyone who were affected on this day 20 years ago and their families well, and that events like this will never happen again. World peace... we can always hope, can't we?

Hrm, the court is upholding prop 8... I'm going to go be sad and drown in my 3 batches of marshmallows now (vanilla w/orange blossom water, strawberry, and bananas foster.)

On a good note, I'm sending out 3 marshmallow packages to 3 people for different occasions, hopefully they'll like them ;)

So a couple of weeks ago my face started getting a lot worse, so I finally found a doctor nearby. She said that I have Rosacea and gave me a gel, but said that she'll prescribe oral antibiotics if my symptoms don't improve. When it happened, I remember my grandparents telling me to not watch the news... it's probably a good idea since HK media doesn't really censor gross scenes, and at 6 years old I didn't need to see those images. Today is my first day off since the extraction. I was tempted to call in sick the last two day, but I went anyway. That turned out to be good since someone else called in sick Wednesday, then yesterday the manager left early so I stayed late.
