Drinkable Quiche :P

Not much to update about really. I made quiche from this recipe I made once before last night and it completely epically failed. Trey and I are trying to go all natural, including shredding our own cheese. The monteray jack shredded just fine but the leftover mozzarella ball we used for stuft chicken gummed up on the grater. I got it into reasonably small chunks, but the mozzarella was so moist the egg never set up. It was a little liquidy last time because the recipe called for too much milk, but this time is didn't set up at all. Next time I will use a low moisture cheese. That was tons of veggies to waste :(.

I was so embarrassed when Trey tried to eat it that I almost went to bed without eating. I wasn't going to eat, but I was pretty tired from working out and Trey made too much instant stuff for dinner including a Traders Joe's frozen chicken verde burrito for me. I ate half of it. It was pretty good. Sucks I didn't save the other half for lunch.

I hate baking. I'm cooking everything on the stove top from now on!

It could have been a lot worse though. Trey reeeeeeally overcooked the chicken fried rice the night before, proof he's not immune to mistakes. It just sucks because that was two bad dinner nights in a row. And I'm cooking again tonight! No major worries though, I'm making my bomb-ass yellow curry and I've had the recipe down for a while.

Feeling bummed out lately. It's been warm and sunny for weeks and the first two cloudy days in a row, I'm suddenly depressed. I wonder what it'll be like when the weather turns to crap for months on end and I can't run and cycle around in the warm sun. I don't know if I'm cut out for the Pacific Northwest.
