Moving Day
I move this Friday to my new apartment right by work! I am going to call it 'my place in The City' so as not to get confused with 'my house up North'. I'll post pictures for you, El-Jay, when I get the internet there, whenever that may be. It looks like I may have a period of going out and being active in my future, at least for a little while, as I own no furniture and the only other option is to be a terrible shut-in and sit on the floor and do nothing after work. Brian is coming down tomorrow to help me move so hopefully we can spend the weekend exploring the area and pretending to be hip Hollywood 20-somethings. It's been so long since I've been hip that I don't even know what it entails!
In other news, I was so happy when the Lakers lost I was literally dizzy from the schadenfreude for a while. Why do I get so invested in my sports and not something interesting, like science??
