Hot Point is a cute little self-service cafe in a lonely corner of the north side of North Hills. Hubby and I have stopped here for breakfast and lunch and have enjoyed both. Choices include frittatas, omelets, waffles and pancakes to name a few.

DK is a classic diner with stainless steel exterior and comfy booths. There is the mandatory counter seating as well as a grouchy hostess. I’ve been here a number of times, most of them positive experiences (breakfast specials are the best). Last time I came with mom and sis for ( Read more... )

Great breakfasts, escape the snowbirds!

Great breakfast, but lunch as well

Jo Al's is a super cheap little diner

Jo Al's has changed from it's NASCAR theme to a more sedate Chicago sports theme inside. The new owners have really cleaned up the place, which has been a staple for traditional "greasy spoon" eats that all come off that one ( Read more... )
